The University of New Orleans Henry Bernstein College of Business Administration will host Management Week beginning March 17, 2025. Management Week offers students a unique opportunity to engage with industry professionals and gain real-world business insights.
A highlight of the week will be remarks from Anwar Nasir, executive director of the GRAMMY Award-winning Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO), on Wednesday, March 19 at 6 p.m. in Kirschman Hall 131. Under Nasir’s leadership, the LPO has experienced record audience growth and groundbreaking collaborations with Louisiana artists such as Tank & The Bangas, Big Freedia, Dawn Richard and Juvenile. In 2024, the orchestra received its first GRAMMY Award for Best Regional Roots Music Album with the Lost Bayou Ramblers.
Nasir’s presentation will focus on leadership and innovation, offering valuable insights into how he is shaping the LPO’s future and expanding its influence within the community. Student attendees will also have the exclusive opportunity to win tickets to an upcoming LPO performance.
All Management Week events will take place in Kirschman Hall. In addition to Nasir, Management Week will feature the following lineup of industry professionals:
